I think the vape connection is simply a distraction. Having your lungs fucked up after breathing in vapour of a liquid manufactured in China? You don't need a virus for that, most of Chinese products are poison, you just don't put them in your lungs like vape liquid.

For me there are currently two theories that hold water: China bio-weapon lab fuckup and glownigger attack. The first is self explanatory, the second is more tinfoil, but here's why I regard it as a possibility:

- the US can't contain Chinese expansion by economic warfare alone and is incapable of prosecuting an all-out war against a somewhat competent and well-armed adversary.

- half a century of gay ops didn't destroy Iran, they don't bend the knee to economic sanctions and attacking them militarily would result in the most costly and unpopular war the US ever attempted.

- now both of these countries have been hit hard by nCoV, they would be the top two of it wasn't for the Asian spillover from China. Cheapest and most effective way to tackle two long-term tough opponents with plausible deniability.

- Israel has been developing nCoV vaccine since way before the Wuhan happened, they say it's obviously a pure coincidence. Mossad has full access to CIA gay ops, so they would have known about such an attack beforehand.

- Chinese economy grinding to a halt ensures an economic crisis that smallhats can capitalize on like they always do. Trump's constantly boasting about how good the economy is doing, because he didn't fulfill any of the electoral promises from 2016 except those made to Israel. Demonrats don't stand a chance in the election as things stand at the moment, a big crisis might be their only chance to unseat bad orange man. The "intelligence community" is firmly deep state, anti-Trump, so they would be killing serval birds with one coof. Those are the people who created ISIS, don't tell me they're not evil enough to pull off a little AIDS-flu action.

- "but wouldn't they think about how this could get out of control and fuck them in the ass later on? Surely even a child would see this as a stupid idea" you might ask, and I would refer you to the 70 years history of royal fuck ups by the CIA glowniggers, featuring such smash hits as "let's overthrow the democracy in Iran, what could possibly go wrong", "let's create an organizational and logistical structure for the brave mujahideen of Afghanistan, what could possibly go wrong", "we're sure this rag-tag group of Cuban expats can successfully invade the island occupied by a strongarm military regime with significant popular support, if anything goes wrong JFK will commit US troops", "let's destroy Libya and Syria, we're sure it's going to be a swift victory for democracy and freedom", etc. These people are the dictionary definition of high time preference.

I guess we'll never know.
